Week #2
Ok, I’m entering my second week here out in the Prairies and I’m friggin bored. Yes, I have unpacking left to do but I have hit a wall because there isn’t enough room to unpack all the boxes, let alone put the boxes somewhere out of my sight. There is abso-frickin-lutely nothing to do. There are parks everywhere and it’s pretty here but nothing to do. It’s a lot like F’ton minus the Fox and Dolan’s. I will hopefully find my equivalents soon enough but we’ll see. I’m not a hiker so the parks are limited and plus, it’s getting to be high cougar season. It’s bad enough running into…

Long Past Due
I finally fixed the video that was supposed to play on my rapelling at Cape Enrage blog. It’s been over a month now and just remembered yesterday that it did not play. How could have a blog about something so cool and not have the pics to back it up. Well it’s fixed now. So search for “rapell” or go to the entry on June 17th if you want to view the coolness that was that weekend! 😉 Also, as some may have noticed that somewhere in the last month the header on the pages have changed. Remember M*A*S*H???
A blast from the past! So after putting 5 guys I know (John, Kevin, Peter, Chris, and Gordon), 5 numbers (3, 17, 5, 1, 2), 5 Cars (Chevelle, Camaro, Mercedes, BMW, Jeep), 5 places (Hawaii, Bora Bora, Santorini, Australia, Fiji), 5 colours (pink, red, blue, black, white) and 5 jobs (ECE, Childlife Specialist, Teacher, Secretary, Flight Attendant) and picking a number I recieved my future. I’m so going to end up on Jerry Springer to have ended up with my current husbands best friend. lol What a great way to spend some time procrastinating. Seems only fitting because I used to do these all the time when I was younger.

I have arrived
I’ve been in the Hat now just over a day. 36 or so hours actually. It’s just like I expected from seeing the pics and hearing the stories from J. However, I will say it is not flat here in the Hat. Everyone seems to comment on how flat it is, but in all honesty it’s very hilly (if that’s even a word). There are hills and coulees and valleys/ravines, and some spots are definitely flat but it’s nothing near what I expected. Once you get to the outskirts of town it’s flatter and what one would expect of the Prairies. I haven’t been here long but I got a…
