    Just what I needed

    So this past weekend I made the daunting drive from Fredericton to Halifax (all by my lonesome I might add) to surprise Lisa. It just so happened to be her birthday weekend as well. It was perfect. I came back refreshed and happy. None of this overtired, glum person I have become. It’s amazing how being with people you care about lift your spirits when you least expect it. I knew it was going to be fun but I wasn’t expecting the refreshment I felt. You ask what was so refreshing….just the company.     Carli & Laura did Cape Enrage

    So after a brief internet hiatus I’m back. Back with a vengence. So much to tell you about. But I’m going to focus on the awesome weekend I had with Carli. What a way to send off New Brunswick and Carli. We owned Cape Enrage. It was perfect. Invigorating. Adrenaline rush. A laugh and a half. I got to strike another thing off my ‘to-do list’. Carli and I met in Moncton on Friday evening. We didn’t do anything but talk, watch the satellite (before it went down), and talk. It was just like old times, and I mean *old times*. We had a sleepover just like the good ol’days….right…

    Bring it on!

    So it’s 8 am on Saturday and I’m sitting here eagerly awaiting my day. Carli is in the shower and I’m just puttin around on the internet waiting for my turn to shower. I can’t believe this day is here…our whole friendship has been kind of building up to this day. Our first ‘real’, planned adventure. Off the side of a cliff and across a cable high above the ground.
