J’s last exam
So right now, J is sitting in C9 writing his last exam for his undergrad. I’m so proud! He’s going to come home happy, probably acting very subdued, and exhausted!!! It’s been a busy few weeks for him between assignments, finals, organizing a visit from my friends for my birthday, taking care of me, etc etc. He’s going to feel like dropping I’m sure. And the great guy that he is has volunteered to come in and work at the centre tomorrow. Well not volunteer exactly, as he’s getting paid, but you know what I mean. It’s J and he’s great! So it has finally happened…
:vhappy: Carli & Phil are getting married!! :happy: They are engaged, I got the blissful call from the best friend last night (the 19th) and I am so frickin’ excited for them both!! I was bouncing off the walls excited… I even surprised myself how pumped I was/am. I can’t wait to experience this with her (& Phil), if even from a far. So Congratulations once again and enjoy this time and take it for what it is!! 🙂 I am going to wait to post this until I get an ok from the said best friend.

I’m sitting here watching Grey’s (Season 3…Season 4 starts a week from tomorrow) and a feel the urge to write. I need to blog, but I don’t know about what. My fingers are just going to go where they want. I have so many thoughts running through my head and Grey’s has just been connecting with me. It’s weird. It’s making think of so many other things and feel so many things, I guess I’m going crazy. Are the connections there or am I just making them because I don’t want to feel alone. ?! …the good fortune gods are looking down at us. Ok, so maybe not good fortune, let’s say semi-good fortune. Because really, you can never say we have good fortune with the Monday a.m. we had. However, this afternoon between 2-3 it took a turn. A turn for the better. John went to a Pawn Shop on King St. this afternoon (they didn’t open until after 11 so in actuality he went down trying to get in twice). Good Monday Morning to you too….Assholes
How’s this for a Monday morning: Then you look inside to see this: That’s right. Window smashed. Stereo gone. If you notice the whole front of the dash panel is demolished. Those aren’t easy to come by. They didn’t seem to take anything else. Not the cds, etc etc. They were just lucky (or knew) that the deck was hidden in the truck. Luckily, we didn’t lock it in the glove box or we’d have bigger problems on our hands. It would have been ripped apart and smashed as well. I guess we are *lucky* that the deck was in there and not upstairs because we’d be even more livid…
