Strange night in Lauraland
So I had the weirdest experience last night…I have no idea what was going on outside but it was weird. The sun was just rising, or so I think it was that early because the window looked kind of pink and there is no way in Hell I can see the alarm clock from where J has it. But seriously, it sounded like there was an assault going on outside our condo. It was the strangest sound coming from this lady and weird hitting wood sounds and male voices…I still have no idea what was going on. I didn’t go to the window. J did though. We thought it was…

So it has finally happened…
:vhappy: Carli & Phil are getting married!! :happy: They are engaged, I got the blissful call from the best friend last night (the 19th) and I am so frickin’ excited for them both!! I was bouncing off the walls excited… I even surprised myself how pumped I was/am. I can’t wait to experience this with her (& Phil), if even from a far. So Congratulations once again and enjoy this time and take it for what it is!! 🙂 I am going to wait to post this until I get an ok from the said best friend.

It’s been 4 years
…4 long (yet short) years. I haven’t forgotten. I still don’t have the voice to say what I want so I’ll let the words I wrote four years ago sound out. There is so much I want to say about my Gram, but I don’t know where to start and I honestly wouldn’t be able to stand before you today because of the impact of losing her has had on us all.
