    Another full Metallica song

    It has been released by the band themselves on their site and since many aren’t obsessive like me with Metallica.     A new love of mine

    Well not really new….but old revisited… “The Day that Never Comes” – Metallica So I’m loving this new Metallica. It was just put out to the airwaves yesterday at 12 my time. And it didn’t disappoint. I was a little scared since they seemed to be building it up to be like “old ” Metallica. I was afraid it could be another “St. Anger”. But nope. Long songs with long intros, outros, drumming and solos, lyrics. It’s the whole real deal this time around. I can’t wait for the album to be released. I may just go out and buy the cd on Sept 12.     More Metallica…

    So they premiered one of their new songs the other day at Ozzfest and posted on youtube so here it is. Enjoy. It’s hard to hear lyrics and the song clearly but it definitely shows promise. More promise than St. Anger. I heard a guitar solo from Kirk. Hopefully it wasn’t just because it was live….I don’t think it was. But there you have it folks, “cyanide”.     Carli & Laura did Cape Enrage

    So after a brief internet hiatus I’m back. Back with a vengence. So much to tell you about. But I’m going to focus on the awesome weekend I had with Carli. What a way to send off New Brunswick and Carli. We owned Cape Enrage. It was perfect. Invigorating. Adrenaline rush. A laugh and a half. I got to strike another thing off my ‘to-do list’. Carli and I met in Moncton on Friday evening. We didn’t do anything but talk, watch the satellite (before it went down), and talk. It was just like old times, and I mean *old times*. We had a sleepover just like the good ol’days….right…
