Maybe I get my ring back tomorrow?!???

If I’m lucky that is. We dropped my engagement ring off January 8th for my inspection that needs to be done every 6 months to keep the warranty valid. They noted that the diamond had to be straightened…they say I must have caught it somewhere causing it to me misaligned. Quite possibly true but I don’t remember it ever happening. Also, it had to be replated. We were told it would take 14 days from the day we dropped it off. HAHAHA. As if.

I’ve dropped it off in Moncton twice before and they take 1 week max. You drop it on a Thursday and get it back on a Thursday. I was like 14 days…oh well, nothing I can do about it. There isn’t another one of those stores around in town. Almost 3 weeks is fine I guess.

However I went to the mall on Friday with Meghan to run a few errands and to get my ring back. I handed them my ticket. They looked through the little case with all the rings in it. Went to the book. Then went back to the rings. And to my surprise it wasn’t in!!

So 19 BUSINESS days later my ring was still in limbo. I was pleasant and nice to the worker but trying to be semi-assertive. They had a message on the phone when I got back telling me it would be in on Wednesday (as in tomorrow). So we’ll have to wait and see. No matter what the case, they are going to have to deal with John. He’s not pleased to say the least. He’s starting to get worried I think because they have no real answers and can’t tell us why it’s taking so long and where it is.

Hopefully for their sake they will have answers tomorrow and will have my ring so I can have it back where it belongs….on MY FINGER!!!
