Summer has *almost* offically arrived in the Maritimes! :)
So it’s been above 30c and it’s only May and the sun has been out almost every day…Most would say that is the mark of summer. But I disagree. There are a few things that have to happen each year before summer has offically arrived for me. Summer begins after the following are completed: bubblegum ice cream waffle cone (from Kings)—CHECK Red & Blue Slushy—CHECK Enjoying a daiquiri or sling on a Main St. patio So as you can see, summer is almost here! A trip to the Merb and/or Parlee will confirm it too! I’ve survived school (A+,A,A-,B,B+) so all in all it was a pretty great semester. But…

Reality Checks Suck
Someone had the nerve to break into our Jeep while parked in the underground storage!! We’re out a lot of money. The stereo, speakers, and amp can’t be replaced…at least through insurance b/c the Jeep wasn’t insured because it was parked and we weren’t covered for theft anyways. They got ALL the tools John got for Christmas. It’s such a pissoff. It was just over $900 with taxes. We don’t know if we should go through insurance or not, we’ve started a claim but if it’s in our best interest not to put it through we won’t. It would be so bad if the F&#$ers didn’t break the window on…

It’s been awhile again
It’s been a little bit since I’ve given an update. Let’s see….what has gone on since Feb. 7th. There’s less than 5 months until our wedding. It’s going to get hectic soon and I can’t wait!!! Hrmmmm…. Oh yea! I got to visit my dress for the first time since it came in! All the worrying about the fit is now put to rest. It looks better than it did before if that is possible. The only sucky part was that my shoes won’t work with the dress. They were a smidge too low and I don’t want to have my dress hemmed. lol It’s ok, I found new shoes…

….that’s the story of my life in the past two weeks. After this week no papers and maybe just 1 exam, it’ll be nice to relax for about a week or so. 🙂 We are hopefully going to be Halifax bound for at least a day, a week from this coming Friday. I want to ‘visit’ my dress and hopefully realize that I don’t need any alterations! **fingers crossed** I have 1 midterm tonight and hopefully all will go well. I did ok in geology considering my prof asked how his last name was spelled for 1% on my FINAL grade!! He asked the dumbest questions and that probably was…

I’m Getting Married THIS Year!!!
I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve/start to the new year!! I had a great New Years…low key but very fun. I didn’t make it to Halifax though…I’ll have to make a stop at Chateau Boutilier very soon. February is the plan now. I can finally say that we are getting married THIS year! 🙂 It’s going to be a very busy year but I can’t wait!!!
