    Thanksgiving Sunday

    So it’s Sunday…Thanksgiving to be exact. And I’m in Alberta. It’s going to be different. This time last year I was cooking up a storm for J, Mom, Greg, and Elaine. This year I cooked up a storm for Tanya and friends. I didn’t do much baking because Tanya was baking a lot but I couldn’t do nothing. So I baked some homemade pull-apart rolls. Cranberry sauce. Caramilk Fudge. And Snickerdoodles. I’ll post my rolls recipe soon enough. I also brought with me some of Nan’s pickles and the chow I made last year. So I definitely didn’t come empty handed.     Adios weekend.

    So my weekend is over. Well, it’s over in 2 hours and that really sucks! I just want one more day. But no long weekends this week. There is a long weekend next weekend. Pretty saaa-weeeet if you ask me. I have no idea what we are doing for Thanksgiving. Last year we hosted Mom, Greg, & Elaine. The year before it was just J and I but we had Chris to eat our leftovers. The year before that we made it with Kimball. We usually went to Moncton and/or Stellarton as well I do believe.     Ola weekend.

    So after a down right horrible Friday last week. This Friday went a whole heck of a lot better. It was a good week and actually went by quite quickly. I hope never to re-live a day like I had last Friday at work. Brutal. My only complaint is the weight I seem to be gaining. Boourns to the start of fall and my body going into hibernate mode. However, I don’t know how my body thinks it’s time to hibernate since it was 29-30c most of the week…the lowest temp. last week was about 25. Not too shabby for the first of October if you ask me.
