Just what I needed
So this past weekend I made the daunting drive from Fredericton to Halifax (all by my lonesome I might add) to surprise Lisa. It just so happened to be her birthday weekend as well. It was perfect. I came back refreshed and happy. None of this overtired, glum person I have become. It’s amazing how being with people you care about lift your spirits when you least expect it. I knew it was going to be fun but I wasn’t expecting the refreshment I felt. You ask what was so refreshing….just the company. Being in the province I yearn for isn’t bad either. 😉 We did go shopping on Saturday…

Carli & Laura did Cape Enrage
So after a brief internet hiatus I’m back. Back with a vengence. So much to tell you about. But I’m going to focus on the awesome weekend I had with Carli. What a way to send off New Brunswick and Carli. We owned Cape Enrage. It was perfect. Invigorating. Adrenaline rush. A laugh and a half. I got to strike another thing off my ‘to-do list’. Carli and I met in Moncton on Friday evening. We didn’t do anything but talk, watch the satellite (before it went down), and talk. It was just like old times, and I mean *old times*. We had a sleepover just like the good ol’days….right…

So it has finally happened…
:vhappy: Carli & Phil are getting married!! They are engaged, I got the blissful call from the best friend last night (the 19th) and I am so frickin’ excited for them both!! I was bouncing off the walls excited… I even surprised myself how pumped I was/am. I can’t wait to experience this with her (& Phil), if even from a far. So Congratulations once again and enjoy this time and take it for what it is!! 🙂 I am going to wait to post this until I get an ok from the said best friend.
