Yep I’m waiting
Waiting, waiting, I’m still waiting. And it’s only 10am. Lots of waiting left to do. But I’m no longer waiting on the building manager to bring me the elevator key. I just got that in my hands a few short minutes ago. I’m still waiting on Jeff. He has about 4 hours left on his drive. He seems to be making it in record time! “They” figured we’ll get the keys anytime between 10-12. It’s almost always around then but then again, this is me we are talking about. I’m going to be waiting for a very long time. I’m not known for my patience you know. But I’m keeping…

Not much time now
This time tomorrow we will be in our house!! Well, have the keys to our house….more than likely. With our luck the keys will be held on to longer than normal but hopefully not. This time tomorrow it could be over. The anticipation that is. I’ll just be really busy running and the roads and unpacking. I can’t wait! I’m really excited that Jeff is coming down the 13 or so hours to help. That is awesome. It’ll be a good time that’s for sure! I should get going though, I have to get back to work. I just wanted to share my anticipation. 24 hours to go…..

My new stove is Jewish
That’s right folks. You heard it here first. I have a Jewish stove. A kosher stove if you will. Well when it wants it to be. Or more so, if the time ever arises I need it to be. It has a Sabbath Day feature. Not that I will probably ever use it but it’s there. I guess new stoves automatically turn off after 12 hours of use but this feature overrides it. It’s a little more in depth than that but that’s the essence of it all. It allows food to be warm on Jewish Sabbath without breaking the rules about doing it. There’s definitely more about it and…

Finally back to the land of the living
So it’s Saturday morning and I can now officially say that I feel better. I ate a small meal last night with no ill effects. I waited 24 hours after my last ‘episode’. Went back to bed and slept forever. I worry a bit because I felt like this yesterday morning and went to work in high spirits. I soon started to crash and then had to takeabout 1/2 the day off. I got to stay home after my break because I was so tired. Probably from lack of sleep and slight dehyrdration. I definitely overestimated my abilities. Just 8 return trips until I no longer have to make this long drive. 8 more trips until I will be in our house. Our house will be ours. Cutting my commute in half. One more thing to add to my “pros” list! The only con in reality is all this money could be going to student loan debt. BOOOOO! It’s not much different a month than we are paying now in our tiny apt. It’s just the big lump sum we gave away to our builder and lawyer. It could have made our monthly payments significantly smaller to the devil (aka National Student Loan Service Centre) but we weighed…
