Wii had a blast!
Lisa and Gordon were down this weekend….and Gordon brought his Wii along with him. Now, I’m not one for video games but this system is pretty friggin cool. I’m actually a little sore from playing it so often. hehe A great way to get some exercise instead of just sitting in front of the tv and pressing buttons. Get up and out of your chair and have fun. I’ll put some pics below of the shinanagins that went along with this little gaming system. hehe
It was a low-key weekend with a lot to celebrate. However, when I did venture out to go somewhere I had to come back home. Boo to that! š We walked down to the Fox to meet Dan & Laura. As I was walking I said to John that my stomach is feeling weird. Oh well I thought, I’ll walk it off. We get there and no sooner than when I sit down on the bench waiting to be seating do I get a horrible wave of pain/nausea. I thought if I got up and went outside that would help. Nope. I was wrong. The cool air and movement made it 100% worse. We called a cab but they wouldn’t take visa for under $10 and we weren’t very far from our house. So I started walking. I got to the corner from the Fox and I was in tears I was so sure I wasn’t going to make it home. We called Lisa on her cell to tell her we wouldn’t be back and to see if Dan could quickly drive me home. That was a blur. I made it home and got sick. š I put on my robe and did nothing. After a couple of hours it went away…in just enough time for Lisa, Gordon, Dan & Laura to come back. I had something to eat and then I was all better once again. I don’t know what happened but I have a feeling the immense heat in the Fox just aggrevated whatever was going on….G didn’t feel so shit hot after being in there either. I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t stay and try and tough it out.
Honestly, the weekend revolved around chatting, the Wii, and a few drinks. I got to see pics of Lisa & Gordon’s new house that we will hopefully get to see Canada Day weekend. š Congrats to them! I hope we didn’t bore them too much as there is nothing to do in this town. I was going to suggest going to Dolan’s but the band that was playing live this weekend sucks…only weekend this month that that was a problem…of course! And it didn’t help that I got sick on Saturday night. Bah. We all had a good laugh at how old we are getting but I swear, I’m going to figure something out for us almost-30s to do. š
So without further adieu, here are some pics!
Lisa & I playing a round of baseball
Me and my butt having a game of bowling
Here we are taking a Wii break. hehe
Boxing against Dan…I knocked him down
I knocked Dan down TWICE!!

Wii had a blast too! We did not mind the lazying around. It was a nice change considering the speed of life for the next couple of weeks. (Telethon, AGM, moving!) It was fantastic to just spend some time with you guys. Can’t wait for Canada Day week! š
ps: My Kitchen Aid arrived at RyLee’s today!
