Snickerdoodles
1/2 c. Butter (softened)
1/2 c. Shortening
1 1/2c. White Sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 3/4 c. Flour
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt2 tbsp. White Sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Blend in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
- Shape into balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place approx. 2″ apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8-10 min until set (it’s always 10 min in my stove). Remove immediately from the cookie sheets and enjoy!

Make them! Easiest, most tastiest cookies ever! Bonus is that you can freeze them after you roll them and make them whenever you want so you don’t have a monsterous batch for 1 person. 🙂
