Of all friggin times
So I was supposed to have Leafs tickets as I type this. Key word being supposed. J and I were up and had the page loaded and ready to go. We both hit refresh and then it blocked us for a 2 minutes. But we were ok because it was 9:57 and we had 3 minutes. But then 10 comes and we have no internet. The orange light is not blinking. It didn’t start blinking until 10:13. 12 minutes too late. It’s not Friday yet???
So I have been slacking. Yet again. I’m tired. Work is tiring. But it’s awesome at the same time. Then after supper we have been going for walks and by the time I get back it’s too late to call people and I’m exhausted. I sit down and cuddle with J for a bit then drag my buttocks into bed. All I know is that today feels like Thursday and it’s ONLY Wednesday. That sucks. That feeling sucks. Week 1
First week on the job and I have a raise. Man, I’m frickin awesome. 😉 Ok, so it had nothing to do with my job performance really, but still I’m awesome. Right….right…!?!?! I just came from my first staff meeting and it went pretty well. It kept me entertained and informed and made me feel a little lost. And to top it all off, we all got a raise. It’s not monumental or anything but something to try and improve our income and show appreciation. Another new month
So it’s been a few days yet again and now a new month has begun. A new beginning. A new school year. I’m looking forward to see what it has in store. Surely it will be better than the last week. I had an orientation and got a few shifts. Some longer than others. However, the third and final one did not do well for me. Of course it was the longest shift. I could sleep for days
So I’m exhausted. Purely exhausted. Before you all tell me how sorry you are, sarcastically, hear me out. Yes it is the first time in a couple of months I had to get up for work at 7:30. Frig, first time in YEARS I’ve had to be at work for 7:30 really. But I had no problems. I even got the car dropped off to the mechanic before heading in.
