    Hrmmm

Just want to go on record to say that I think something may be brewing with my beloved Maple Leafs. Not sure what. But maybe a trade. A good trade. ? A firing. Not sure but something is a brewin’.  I just wanted to let people know my spidey senses are tingling. (lol)

“Hey, Leaf fans: Boo these guys, not Leafs”

Hey, Leaf fans: Boo these guys, not Leafs Oct 23, 2007 04:30 AM Written by: Damien Cox Years ago, fans knew who to blame when the Leafs fell on hard times – crusty ol’ Harold Ballard. Today, club ownership is a rarely seen, seldom-quoted collection of suits. Clockwise from top left, Jim Leech of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan; MLSE chairman Larry Tanenbaum; MLSE director Dale Lastman; Robert MacLellan of TD Bank; Robert Bertram of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan; CTVglobemedia CEO Ivan Fecan. The Toronto hockey public has known the two extremes of sports ownership. Both, in very different ways, created a sense of tyranny and helplessness for Maple Leaf…

    The Toronto Maple Leafs

If you look on my “to-do page” you will see a list of things I will hopefully complete before I die. There are a lot of things on it and quite a few checked off but do down the list a little bit and you’ll see #7. It’s like a curse. Something that gives me and others a chuckle. But it does deserve to be on my list. It’s something I want to see…so laugh all you want. Whatever. You can’t say anything I haven’t heard 1,000,000+ times before. I will still be a “make beliefs” fan. It’s like water off a ducks back. I won’t cheer for the French…

    Hypocrite….Maybe…

This may go against my previous post but this is not what I meant by being prepared to follow through on your words. (lol) I’m rather appalled at what has been coming out of Ottawa the last month or so…well, since the playoffs started. A bet was made between a DJ (supposedly a die-hard T.O. fan…I’ll discuss that later) and the fans of the Ottawa Senators. If the Senators made the Stanley Cup finals he would do three things: Shave his head and paint the sides red – whatever people do bets like that all the time Belly dance on a main street or something – that’s cool…I’d be amused…

    Raycroft’s Moustache…

is back. You know what this means? It means the Leaf’s winning streak is probably going to end tonight. I’ve said all season that Raycroft can’t be a good goalie until he gets rid of the crust-ache. He did over a week ago and hasn’t lost since. However, I saw an interview with him today and it’s back. Nastier than ever. Hopefully he shaves before game time…if not, hopefully my theory doesn’t prove to be right. Go leafs go!
