Shhhh….
This is to be kept top secret again until we get through the first trimester. But we wanted to share our news. 😀 Obviously no comments on the blog, facebook, anywhere. So April 26th, 2012 is the estimated date!  So I’d say anywhere in April if Elijah is any indication. So there you have it. Hopefully smoother sailing in the coming weeks this time around. I will be removing this webpage once everyone who we decide to tell knows since it is on the interweb, even if it’s sneakily hidden as an “old post” so it wouldn’t show up on the sidebar. Smell is the strongest sense tied to memory
And I’m sitting here eating my bed lunch, enjoying a bowl of Fruitloops. It reminds me of my Nan. The first smell of the bowl just as I’m stirring it. Back from NS
So my whirlwind trip to NS is over. I’m back to the usual grindstone. But there is a difference. I feel refreshed. Funniest part of it all…the Arctic Airmass came with. The news is complaining about this cold air that is also known as an “Alberta Clipper” or Saskatchewan Slammer. But it kind of fits. Once upon a time I was blamed for bringing snow to New Brunswick and now this time the Clipper came with me. After I left in July I took the sun and heat with me and the weather became BEAUUUUTIFUL in the Hat and crap here in…

Thanksgiving Sunday
So it’s Sunday…Thanksgiving to be exact. And I’m in Alberta. It’s going to be different. This time last year I was cooking up a storm for J, Mom, Greg, and Elaine. This year I cooked up a storm for Tanya and friends. I didn’t do much baking because Tanya was baking a lot but I couldn’t do nothing. So I baked some homemade pull-apart rolls. Cranberry sauce. Caramilk Fudge. And Snickerdoodles. I’ll post my rolls recipe soon enough. I also brought with me some of Nan’s pickles and the chow I made last year. So I definitely didn’t come empty handed. I also made Gram’s stuffing this morning and did…
