Shhhh….
This is to be kept top secret again until we get through the first trimester. But we wanted to share our news. 😀 Obviously no comments on the blog, facebook, anywhere. So April 26th, 2012 is the estimated date!  So I’d say anywhere in April if Elijah is any indication. So there you have it. Hopefully smoother sailing in the coming weeks this time around. Ack.
So it’s all beginning to feel all that more real now. There is only 2 more weekends until we will be in our house!! That’s it. That’s all. 2 weekends! We need to get a move on and start seriously packing. Which by the way, we are doing today. We are saddling up and packing. I think Friday put a fire under our ass. The lawyer called. We are to go in and sign our life away on Monday. It’ll be all the more real then. We are asking ourselves as to why we waited until May 14. Why not the end of this month or this past Friday!? Why…

Birthday 09
Well, another birthday has gone to pass and it was a good, well make that great, weekend. So as I sit here enjoying my last piece of birthday cake, I reflect. It may have gotten off to a bumpy start but it can’t be helped sometimes. Some people are just strange and frustrate me. J did try to make the best of it for me though since it is the first year we are alone on our birthdays. We went out to grab some food and drinks, I got a phone call from my Mom and my brother in BC and watched playoff hockey. It was sweet. Wow. Talk about beautiful weather
So check this shit out. Unfrickin’ believable. I have been wearing sandals & capris for weeks. It’s been in the high teens and even reached the 20s. But look at this. 26°c. It’s pretty sweet. It’s our only perk for living here. The weather. It’s beautiful. Just thought I’d “rub it in” to all those still with and getting snow/winter weather.

4 weeks and counting
So 4 weeks from this moment I will be/should be sitting in our new humble abode. Pretty damn exciting. And it’s getting close. Aaaahhhhh! If you look at a calendar and count you may be thinking, “Laura you have lost it, it’s 4 weeks a day. You won’t be in your house until the Friday”. Well if it were earlier in the week you would be right. But the other day we opted to change our closing by 1 day.
