Nova Scotia Bound

I’ve finally made a decision……I think! lol As of right now I’m going to NOT ask for the layoff. I’m going to work until July 22nd and then I’ll be done for the summer. Hopefully I can make it that long because that way I’ll still get to enjoy my summer and I’ll make the money in July that I’d make for the whole summer, I’ll just have to work an extra 3 weeks. Plus, July is my 3 pay month….I’d forgotten about that. So yea, there now you know what I’m going to do. 🙂 I will miss the kids though. 🙁 There are rumours going around work that people are going to be let go or something, let’s just hope that’s what it is….rumours. I’ll guess I’ll get some insight into that on Wednesday. We have a staff meeting….and I was told to prep for at least 1.5 hours so I guess there is a lot to be said. Argh. All I know is that it’ll be a potluck and we are going to talk about the funding and the “future direction of the centre” whatever that means. Hopefully I’ll still have time to go to the gym because I’m missing it today due to the holiday. 🙁

Next weekend I’m Halifax bound! Yahoo! I can’t wait to see Lisa and Gordon and be in the city again. Should be a good time. Even if I don’t do anything or go anywhere it’ll be nice. Maybe I’ll try to get in touch with as many people as I know down there and meet up for food, coffee, a walk, etc. We’ll have to wait and see what I’m up for…..
