I have a severe craving for a sweet, sweet waffle cone from Cow’s Ice Cream down on the Halifax Waterfront. But alas, it’s too far away. I wish Banff was closer. I really want ice cream. Specific ice cream but DQ is going to have to do. Off to get a Strawberry Cheesequake…Mmmmmmm

Happy (belated) Birthday Meghan!!
Happy Birthday Meghan!! It’s sort of belated, but not really. I wished her a happy birthday on Wednesday and we went out last night in Cowtown to celebrate. This picture sums up the evening. I’m sure if you listen carefully you can hear the picture yelling, “It’s my birthday! Wooo!”

So I don’t know how I didn’t blog about this sooner!! Check it out! A rather expensive trip to Calgary…. it sucks. But guess what…. it’s not my $166 speeding ticket! Bahahahaha! It’s my darling husbands. It’s so ironic as he hardly ever speeds and of the few times he does, he gets caught speeding. First time he’s ever been pulled over for speeding….ever….and not even a warning. It sucks. But at the same time I kind of enjoy the irony.

….rant. So I’m in a funk. But not a funk at the same time. I don’t feel sad or lonely or indifferent about life. It’s my body. It’s in a funk. It’s gaining weight slowly over the last month and I have no idea why. And I can’t stop it. It’s been 3 lbs in 16 days. Not cool. Not cool at all. I’m beyond frustrated. I don’t know what changed. Usually I lose weight when I’m happy and around friends and family. It’s not like the weather is cold causing my body to go into winter hibernation mode. But my body is starting to store it’s winter pudge. And…
