Scotia’s 1st Bath
So we took on the task of washing our pup today. It was quite the process. She was quite dirty since we have no grass in our backyard. Plus her fur wasn’t as soft anymore. We had all intentions of chronicling it because I love wet dog pictures but as you will see later (probably tomorrow) it was impossible. We hadn’t expected it would go down that way because she loves water. When we are showering she is at the curtain trying to get in and play in the water. Final Products
So here sit the pumpkins we work meticulously on, while fending off a curious puppy. Not as elaborate or time consuming as other years but done and ready to be enjoyed by the trick or treaters. Which, by the way, we had 30-something. Not bad. Most were young kids too. We only had a couple older kids and they were siblings of the toddlers. It was so fun! But if you look closely at my pumpkin (the lower one, the face) you *might* be able to see that Scotia broke it. We had it out on the step and Pat & Kristin came over to help us move our couch…

Pumpkin Carving
In all the excitement of Scotia we forgot to put up my photos of the day for our pumpkin carving. We had 4 pumpkins and only did 2 because it’s a lot harder to carve pumpkins with a very curious 12 week old puppy than without. Plus, we had other stuff to do so we only had time for 2. The others are just “fall decor”. hahaha
