Sick again.

Man oh man. When is this going to stop. I rarely get sick and ever since I moved and started working in AB, it seems I get sick all the time!  The germs can’t be that different than back home.  I should have immunity to most now.   I just hate not being able to go to work.  Especially when it’s so beautifully hot and sunny outside! So here I am, feeling like crap and looking out the window to see another beautiful day that I can’t enjoy. It sucks.

I feel like I might be getting better. I was given some meds for an intestinal infection (sounds fun right?!) and it seems like it’s working.  Yea, that’s right.  An intestinal infection.  The Dr. thinks it’s more than the flu because of my symptoms and lack of other common flu symptoms.  It’s just lovely.  The pills are going to stop me from being able to enjoy a daiquiri for 10 days, well 11 since there has to be at least 24 hours from my last pill to taste alcohol.  Of course it’s now, during summer and stampede time.  Of course. But I’m hopefully on the mend and will be back to my usual self later in the day.  24 hours from the first pill should knock whatever this is on it’s rear.  Here’s hoping anyway.

I just want to be able to eat. I’m starting to crave food so that is a good sign. Until late last night I was suffering from this fullness that made me feel like I was going to regurgitate the water I needed to swallow the pills.  My body was giving me the same signs as if I’d overeaten and I hadn’t eaten anything in 36 or so hours. It’s fun stuff I tell you.

I can’t wait to be back to my normal self! I’ve had enough of this nonsense.
