Two weeks.
Two weeks from today my hubby will be part of an ‘exclusive club.’ One with a ‘secret’ ceremony. He will become an Engineer with the iron ring….well, an engineer without his professional stamp (that’ll come in another 4 or so years) but still. But to many, the iron ring is it. He’s worked long and hard for this little (well size 10 isn’t so little I guess) pinky ring. He’s going to be beaming. As am I. I just wish I could go, but alas, I do not have an iron ring or am I graduating from Eng. this year so I cannot attend. I will still see him off…

Happy Birthday to the one I love ;)
That cute child with the elongated head is the man I have married. Wasn’t he just precious. It was exactly 26 years ago today. Ground Hogs day. And no, before anyone asks he probably won’t see his shadow so winter should be leaving soon. Highly unlikely though. It’s supposed to be a messy weekend. John already has his birthday presents from me early (& they are awesome if you ask me). The KFC and Jack will be another weekend….when we can celebrate with others. It’s beginning to feel a little bit more real

I was wrong and lost
or did I?!? You be the judge. There was a commercial on tv-tropolis and it was for 90210. It showed a guy running down the beach and was talking about the original hotties or something and I made a comment that it was Dylan. John said no, that’s not Dylan. We were both convinced we were right. We put an extra $15 on stocking stuffers on this bet. I thought Jason Priestly’s character was called Dylan so I was wrong. 1 Year Later
Our anniversary weekend was just what we needed. Dining out, flowers, romance, quiet, Sleeping Beauty, & Grey’s Anatomy…could I have asked for more?! (lol) My, how things change in a year eh!? Fredericton was beautiful. We even got to see Kimball….he flew in early so we met up with him for a lunch at Swiss Chalet with him and Heather & James. It was great. One year to do the day….
