My New Torture Device
I was loving, ok not minding the braces. But now I’m frustrated and annoyed and I just have 2 months under my belt. What has got my knickers in a knot you ask?! Well let me show you. I guess Mother Nature didn’t get the Memo
So look closely. Look what I woke up to at 9am. We’ve never had wet snow before today. lol How on Earth does it go from 27 to snow overnight?! So strange. The snow has stopped though. It was supposed to rain and for some reason it snowed wet snow at 2°C and now it has stopped but still. Weather in AB is so weird. Our poor trees. I was shocked. They are probably shocked. Hopefully they don’t shrivel up and die. Then we saw how droopy the branches are because it’s actually wet snow so J jumps out of bed to shake the off the trees. Hopefully no branches…

First Renos
We’re awesome. We are drywalling geniuses. haha We bought some drywall and decided we are going to pick away at our bathroom in the basement. We had all intentions of getting it done on the weekend but that never happened. Then on Monday we were going to invite a couple over to hang out and help us but by the time we figured out we were doing it and went on our walk it was too late to call someone to come over. So we decided to take it on ourselves. And it was pretty easy. We did it and I was/am so pumped about it. I miss having something…

We have trees
So our desert…I mean backyard..it’s now just a little less barren. We have 2 trees now in the ground. Still nameless though. We may just go with a simple play on words and call them “Crabby” and “Debbie”. It’s kind of fitting since it’s a crab apple tree and a Deborah maple. But if we can think of something better, we will change it. It might just be temporary. But good enough for now. So without further ado, here is Crabby and Debbie.
