Grrr to hackers

So I awake yesterday morning, like every other Sunday morning — dragging my feet, to find out that my website had been hacked. How annoying. Why anyone would bother to do it is beyond me.  It’s just a personal blog. Needless to say, I was pissed and a little at a loss.

It took me the majority of the day to get it back. I ran into a few glitches with my host and they needed to look into a few things for me. By the time it was all ready to go and I could reinstall applications E was already in bed. We were due to be working on the basement. Well actually, I was supposed to help J move the last 5 pieces of drywall into the house. But he did it all by his lonesome while I installed and configured. I honestly don’t think I would have been much help anyway. I definitely would have slowed the progress down. At least that’s what I’ll keep telling myself! haha

I’m going to have to relink a lot of images and videos so it might be a while. But honestly, I doubt many people go back too far and look at old posts. But knowing it’s not right is driving me crrraaaazzzaay!!! I need to design new headers and such but that’ll take no time once I get the images on my computer. They are all on the external hard drive and I don’t dare take that out when E is up because I somehow know that it would end up on the floor and broken. And I would cry. Again. Yes, I’ve gone through 2 hard drives and lost valuable info twice. It sucks.

Ok, I think E has finally nodded off and it should be safe for me to unload the dishwasher so I must pull myself away from the internet and get on it. Although, I’m pretty sure I was told it would be empty when I got up so I wouldn’t have to deal with “crap dishes.” Yes, crap dishes. It’s my loving name for those dishes that aren’t plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery. It’s all the odds and ends and pots. I hate putting them away. With a passion.

But here I go. Maybe then, if I’m lucky I will be able to shower too! Ouuu, the joys! 🙂
