Welcome to Christmas at 210

Well it’s that time again. Christmas. It’s going to be different this year but we are going to make the best of it.

We have had our lights up for a few weeks now, well since December 1st and then last weekend we got our tree. It’s one of my favourite parts of Christmas. I’d say ‘the’ most favourite part because I’m not exactly sure what is my favourite part. But on with the photos. šŸ˜‰

I was so excited to see snow…up went the lights.

The lights are almost up. Looking good, John.

Lights around both patio doors. But the Keith’s empties prove it’s our place and that some things don’t change.

So proud of our accomplishments standing in the freezing cold.

We found our perfect tree! Didn’t take too long either but it had started to rain. But I turn and say “John, too bad it wouldn’t drop a few degrees and turn to snow. It has always snowed on the day/night we get our tree”.

So we had to become inventive to get it into our apartment. We don’t know if we are allowed to have a real tree so we didn’t want to leave any evidence behind.

Isn’t it beautiful! Just perfect if you ask me. And what you see below makes it even more perfect…

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

Then I take a peek out the window and what do my wondering eyes do appear, SNOW! It started to snow. Just like every other year.

Up go the first string of lights.

About a third of the way through the tree.

It takes cooperation near the end. šŸ™‚

Proud as peacocks. Now on with the ornaments.

Here’s our tree. Sans tinsel. It’s perfect.

Our 2 newest ornaments that I just love!

Here’s our tree with tinsel and lights on.

Our den entry. Watch out for the mistletoe! :p

Stockings hung by the door with care…in hopes that St. Nicholas would soon be there.

Our Christmas-y fridge.

O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree…how lovely are your branches.

It snowed here a couple weeks ago and I got my tree. Its as long as my forearm but I love it just the same. We didn’t get each other a lot because of our vacation so who needs a huge tree? They’re all artificial too so almost $100!! I’ll settle for my baby tree šŸ™‚ However I do miss your apartment at Christmas time!
