    #17

Tonight “my guy” is honoured….and I don’t mean John. I mean the best, the most wonderful hockey player in the world….Wendel Clark. Tonight his jersey gets raised to the rafters. Leafs don’t retire jerseys per se. They honour them. And tonight is all about Wendel Clark and his #17. I’m going to post a blog not written by me but Every Leaf fan remembers this moment. Wendel Moment #1 – Clark vs. McSorley On November 22, Wendel Clark’s #17 will be raised to the rafters as the team honours its former captain and arguably the most popular player in franchise history. Yes it’s me. And yes, I am alive

So this might have been my longest hiatus on record as of yet. It’s nearing the month mark. Yowzers! It feels like I’ve had nothing going on. Nothing good to talk about. Well, it’s Friday….

….almost! Thursday night. Close enough to Friday. Relaxing like it’s Friday. And there is just one day of work left in this long work week. Next week will be a short week. Holiday on Tuesday. A couple hours off on Thursday to go to the dentist and then next Friday off to hang out with J and Dad and go to the dentist. Oh the dentist, it’s going to be lots of dollar signs for them. I can’t wait. Not. But I want to say that I had a day like I had during my first 3 weeks of work. It was nice. I did all the activities. I sung…

I’ve never been one for Hallowe’en

It’s just never been my thing.  Could be because my Mom didn’t care for Hallowe’en. Could be because I didn’t like the whole trick or treating thing because I was shy. All I know is that I wasn’t a big fan.  And today is NO exception. Possibly one of the worst on record for a long time.  I had a horrible busy day at work. Shit didn’t come together as I had hoped after work and things are definitely NOT how I pictured them now. I’m sitting all by lonesome in this strange, violent city while my friends are either home in the Atlantic Provinces, at a house party here…
