Back from NS
So my whirlwind trip to NS is over. I’m back to the usual grindstone. But there is a difference. I feel refreshed. But talk to me after the end of the week, maybe I’ll be back to exhausted and stressed. lol I wish I could have stayed longer but it was not in the cards but I basically got to do everything I wanted and see all the people I wanted to see so it was all good in the hood. It was just quick visits (for the most part). But I noticed more differences than I thought. When people asked the differences from there to here I couldn’t explain…

Day over.
I made it through the day. That’s an accomplishment. Doesn’t sound like it but it was. Today had the potential to be marked as one of the worst days in my history. Potential being the key word in that sentence. Because I don’t know what I would have done with myself if today was any worse than yesterday. I won’t go into specifics but my day ended on a very sour note. I will note that it was not my fault. I tried my best to fix the situation as fast as I could. I couldn’t be faulted at the way I handled the situation. It was a damn gongshow.…

Hiatus
So I went on hiatus again. I had the weekend in Calgary and came back to find that I still had a smidge of the virus I thought I had left behind. I dealt with that and now it’s gone FOR GOOD. Yay, go me! But now, because of this virus I have lost everything that once was on this PC. John and I had an external hard drive with ALL our pictures, music, videos, etc. The most important pics and files were still on my pc but because of the virus I cleaned everything. I went back the next morning to copy the stuff from my backup and you…

Life’s a beach
…Melmerby Beach. Such an awesome place. No wonder I fell in love with it many moons ago. The offshore breeze. The sun. The children’s laughter all around. The crashing of the waves. The wind whistling through the dunes. It’s perfection. I didn’t know how I’d feel going to the beach alone but I loved it. Popped in the mp3 player and read a book. And oh yea, I did one sudoku. But I turned it in after a few hours because I would have read all of my book and I need that on the plane to keep me sane. I forgot how quickly I read. Half way through my…

Carli & Laura did Cape Enrage
So after a brief internet hiatus I’m back. Back with a vengence. So much to tell you about. But I’m going to focus on the awesome weekend I had with Carli. What a way to send off New Brunswick and Carli. We owned Cape Enrage. It was perfect. Invigorating. Adrenaline rush. A laugh and a half. I got to strike another thing off my ‘to-do list’. Carli and I met in Moncton on Friday evening. We didn’t do anything but talk, watch the satellite (before it went down), and talk. It was just like old times, and I mean *old times*. We had a sleepover just like the good ol’days….right…
