Maybe I get my ring back tomorrow?!???
If I’m lucky that is. We dropped my engagement ring off January 8th for my inspection that needs to be done every 6 months to keep the warranty valid. They noted that the diamond had to be straightened…they say I must have caught it somewhere causing it to me misaligned. Quite possibly true but I don’t remember it ever happening. The first rule I can remember ever being taught, and taught to value, is never tell a lie. A lie is different than little white lies, fibs, and all the other synonyms pertaining to a misleading of fact where harm is of no concern. Actually protecting someone you care about (not protecting yourself) is not a lie either. A lie is deceitful and one of the most powerful (mis)uses of words. Damn winter storm.
Of course Mother Nature sends us a big blizzard on the day we are supposed to be heading to NS. I should be almost ready to be heading homeward bound but instead I’m stuck in Freddy. I just want to get away. I’m so tired of Fredericton at the moment. We just need a break, away from school and homework and cleaning. However, we have over 30cm of snow for sure…if not, it will be by the time it’s all said and done. There is no way we can travel in this. It’s not looking probable for tomorrow either. Boxes, Boxes, & More Boxes
The FREX, baking cookies, making chili, semi-early mornings….this must mean it’s Fall and school has sprung. Boo to that. I’ve been looking out for work and hoping something pops up soon. I’d much rather be working than school….part-time classes and full-time daycare work would be ideal! 🙂 *fingers crossed* We’ve finally made it through all of the boxes, well most of the boxes and the apartment is slowly coming together.
