16 Sleeps…
until we leave for home. 17 until we are actually home. Although I doubt I’ll do much sleeping with a 30lb toddler on my lap. Sleep on airplanes is crap anyway. Can you imagine if the plane is full and I have no where to put E. I’m going to die. LOL Very excited. I wish J was able to come with us though. It’s going to be “weird” to be away from him that long with E. I’m still holding out hope for the weather. FX!

Summertime
So the word is out. We are taking the Maritimes by storm come August 25th. Well J isn’t coming with but E & I will be there with bells on. We arrive that morning and leave the evening of Sept. 7th. We are going to spend the first day resting and recouping from travel and then head to Moncton then we’ll spend the second half of our trip home in Stellarton. I can’t wait. Although, I’m hoping I get some summer weather because I want to take E to the beach and to parks and out on walks. I realize it’s been a pretty crappy summer in the weather department…

I know summer is what is to “blame” because I always lose my winter insulation and I’m outside so much more. The weather has been gorgeous so between all the walks and playing with E it’s working. I will say I also went biking for the first time in years last week and it was nice. But the seat on J’s bike is not so nice. Ouch. Hopefully I can keep this up but honestly a few more pounds and I’m content with myself. That is all. /brag…

My son, the hobo
Ok, not so much really. But honestly, it looks like it. He is loved. He is cared for. He is the best thing since sliced bread. However, he refuses to lift his right foot when we are riding/pushin him on his new trike. He wants to drag it. I didn’t want him to ruin his sneakers so I took them off and I figured he wouldn’t keep dropping his foot to tap and drag. Boy was I wrong. Nothing would deter him. Then I get home and get him off the bike and see this. I laugh. And no for the record, they were not like this this morning when…
