Uninspired update
I’ve been slacking yet again. No real blogs in a while. I’ve been feeling uninspired in the virtual world. But I can’t forget about the readers I suppose. John and I have now entered, officially entered, the ‘adult world’. We have had 2 appts. with a banking professional and have been told that we have been doing everything right. Which made me feel better. She crunched numbers…big numbers….scary numbers…but doable numbers. We can now say we have our own banking person….financial planner if you will. Happy Anniversary to us
Two years ago I became a Mrs. It may not have been the typical storybook happily-ever-after but it doesn’t mean our story doesn’t count. It doesn’t mean I haven’t enjoyed every minute of it. Looking back I’ve enjoyed going through these ups and downs together (well enjoyed isn’t the right term because I would have rathered of not had to go through it all). Most of the things have been out of our control but still we faced them, got through them and are still here to talk about it. We may not have had it easy but that’s just fine by me. It’s Friday. It’s finally the weekend. 2 more un-interrupted days of fun in the sun with my hubby. Oh I can’t wait! Who knows what we are going to do this weekend. Maybe Echodale. Maybe Calgary. Maybe back to Cypress. Maybe we’ll just stay in our neck of the woods. The possibilities are endless. Ok, maybe not endless. Because if it were endless I’d be back in the Maritimes in the blink of eye. I’d be sitting on Melmerby or Parlee eating pizza and drinking Sussex gingerale. More Metallica…
So they premiered one of their new songs the other day at Ozzfest and posted on youtube so here it is. Enjoy. It’s hard to hear lyrics and the song clearly but it definitely shows promise. More promise than St. Anger. I heard a guitar solo from Kirk. Hopefully it wasn’t just because it was live….I don’t think it was. But there you have it folks, “cyanide”. Hiatus
So I went on hiatus again. I had the weekend in Calgary and came back to find that I still had a smidge of the virus I thought I had left behind. I dealt with that and now it’s gone FOR GOOD. Yay, go me! But now, because of this virus I have lost everything that once was on this PC. John and I had an external hard drive with ALL our pictures, music, videos, etc. The most important pics and files were still on my pc but because of the virus I cleaned everything.
