I did it!
I friggin did it. Did what you ask? Well, you’ll just have to sit tight and read this blog. So first things first, I am 3 loads deep into laundry and made the donair sauce for supper tonight. Busy day ahead
So yesterday wasn’t productive like I had wanted it to be. Everything I had planned got foiled somehow. Unpack the stuff for the last shelf. I couldn’t because the dust here is like fine silt and it won’t “dust”. I needed a polish or something that I didn’t have. Laundry. Had to wait until today because I wanted to wash the clothes John and I had on and the weather was supposed to be nicer today. Therefore, cut the drying time in half. Bake cookies. Only 1 egg. 2 viruses later, I’m back
Wow, this is the longest I think I’ve gone in a while without a post. 2 WHOLE DAYS! lol But I must admit, I sick and more importantly I had caught a virus on my computer and I couldn’t use the internet browser sometimes, or when I could I’d get pop ups. It was annoying. My virus scan caught the original virus but this one in particular caused .dlls to start up and this is what was playing with my laptops emotions. One of those weekends…
…where it might have been better if I had stayed in bed and didn’t awaken AT ALL. Let’s start from the beginning shall we. I awoke Sat. am feeling weird but thought it was just because I had slept so damn long. Like we slept in until 11-11:30. Which is outstanding in our eyes. First time in a year or more. But we only have our new purchase to blame. A new mattress set, which by the way is HEAVEN in every sense of the word. It got delivered on Friday mid-morning so it was our first night on the new, memory-foam, pillow-top mattress. Firm but soft. Oh so perfect.…

The hunt is over….
….and I’m such a dork! A simple outing last night for a toothbrush holder, a specific one at that, led us to find what I have been searching for for months!!! A set of “odd measure” cups. Do you know how long I had been searching for these? I had to get them. They were the only set and it’s Winners, if I don’t get them now I’ll never see them again. Let’s just say it was expensive but I was willing to buy them at William-Sonoma so it was better than that. But I was soooo frickin’ excited to have a set of measuring cups. I was beaming. So…
