Baby is the size of: Length of a Spaghetti Squash and ~1lb. Our ultrasound agreed and this baby measured exactly454g (exactly 1lb) Total weight gain/loss: As of today I’ve gained +5.5lbs in the last month so now I’m up 10.2lbs. I’m scared what Christmas might do! HAHA Stretch marks? Not yet my friend. Sleep: Can’t get enough! Best moment this past week: 2, yes TWO, in-depth ultrasounds! Puppy Love
Some people have asked if we ever regretted getting a dog. I can honestly say no. More honestly some days I think how much easier things (i.e. travel) would be but then I’d miss the interaction between E and Scotia. I must also admit, I do like being pregnant for the simple fact that the dog actually pays attention to me. Well, curls up and sleeps by my side or feet depending on where I am sitting. Baby is the size of a: Total weight gain/loss: I’ve gained 1.7lbs in the last month so 4.7lbs total so far! Stretch marks? Nothing new. Sleep: It’s pretty good but Lord help me if I wake up on my back then I’m sore for days. Best moment this past week: Seeing you growing and moving away on the ultrasound! Miss Anything?: Not having to take injections and prick my fingers numerous times a day! Movement: Definitely getting stronger and more frequent! November 24th, 2011 Baby is the size of: Sweet Potato (~5.6″, ~6.7oz), size of a pear, or length of a bell pepper, whichever site you want to go by. But our ultrasound said Baby was 10oz. Total weight gain/loss: I feel like I’m the same as last week. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow! Stretch marks? So far so good. Sleep: I’m no longer waking up with SI joint problems. Another gender test prediction
Last time I was so sure E was a boy. My dreams said boy. I had no doubts I was having a boy. This time I’m not as certain so I’m having fun with all the old wives tales and gender prediction things. My dreams and initial reaction after finding out I was pregnant was girl. Then I saw the bean on the u/s and instinctively started calling it “him/he”.
